WUMS App 3.0: moped inspection, tyres per wheel and new steps for workshops
Since 15 September 2026 the WUMS App has been available in version 3.0.1 in the Apple App Store and on Google Play; version 3.0.2 follows within days. The changes mainly concern delivery bases with mopeds – and the workshops.
Vehicle inspection for mopeds
From the vehicle type in the fleet the app knows when a moped is being inspected – such as the three-wheeled KYBURZ DXP. The inspection then adapts:
- Three photos instead of five: front, left and rear, with moped illustrations as guidance. No interior, no right side.
- No questions a moped cannot answer: warning triangle and type plate are dropped. Registration certificate and first-aid kit are still asked for.
- Values a moped does not have stay empty in the ticket instead of showing as “No”.
Tread depth only for the wheels that exist
Tread depth is asked per wheel – four on a van, three on a three-wheeler (front, rear left, rear right), two on a two-wheeler. The illustration shows which wheel is next.
Workshops: one button for the next step
Instead of a status select, a workshop's ticket now shows exactly one button with the next step, fixed at the bottom: “Vehicle in workshop” and then “Vehicle repaired”. The button asks once, because the delivery base is notified immediately. Closing the repair order remains the delivery base's job. Status names come straight from 1Tool.
Further improvements
- A “Done” bar above the numeric keyboard keeps the “Next” button reachable on the mileage, tyre and number-plate screens.
- When the connection drops, the photo upload says so clearly and offers “Retry now”; the app may be closed.
- Technical orders and bodywork orders go to the workshop responsible for each (maintenance or damage).
Please install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. The app points out the new version on start-up.
