WUMS Portal: faster vehicle list and a clear sign-in

There is an update in the WUMS Portal that you will notice in daily use: the vehicle list is considerably faster, and when your sign-in has expired the portal now tells you so.

The vehicles page loads noticeably faster

Until now the vehicle list loaded the photos of every vehicle one by one and at full resolution – only to show them as a small preview image. A page with 25 vehicles therefore transferred a multiple of the data needed, which took a long time on a mobile connection in particular.

• The preview images are now loaded in one go and at a small resolution.
• The full-size photo is only fetched once you click on it.
• The list no longer fires duplicate queries and no longer shows error messages for individual images that do not exist.

Vehicle data straight from the interface

Vehicles and photos now come straight from the 1Tool interface instead of an intermediate report. Every request is checked against your own sign-in: you see exactly the vehicles and images that belong to your account.

Expired sessions are recognised

Access to the portal expires after a week. Until now you appeared to stay signed in: pages remained empty and the error message was unreadable. Now a notice tells you that your session has expired and takes you straight back to the login page – sign in once and you can carry on.
